DEISE DELIGHT (IRE) stalked the fractions through the second turn, was three wide on the second turn while gaining ground, took the lead entering the lane, found a game opponent in CHRISTMAS DIAMOND (GB) in the final sixteenth, dug in and won the head nod on the line. CHRISTMAS DIAMOND (GB) had no early speed, gained ground on the second turn while two wide between horses, angled out for the stretch run, dueled with the winner in the final sixteenth and just missed for the win. ZAHRA sat just off of the early pace, saved ground on the second turn while tracking behind the pace, waited for racing room into the stretch, vied for the lead inside the furlong marker but was outkicked by the top two, while holding for third. OLIVE YOU MORE was four wide on the first turn, settled in the middle of the field, improved position on the second turn while three wide, was outrun off of the turn and was outfinished in the drive. PREDETERMINATION set the pace through the second turn, was two wide on the second turn while being pressured, relented the lead into the lane and weakened in the late stages.
