NUN OF OURS was away in good order and matched strides for he lead with CRESCENTCITYPRETTY, dueled inside around the turn then shook free top of the lane and held clear under steady pressure. NEW YEAR'S PARTY was allowed to settle out of the gate then steadily moved up into closer contention, saved ground around the turn then shifted out five wide in upper stretch and sustained a solid bid to gain place. CRESCENTCITYPRETTY was off to a good start and vied for early lead, battled around the turn then failed to maintain equal terms in upper stretch and got outkicked late for place. GOLDEN SMILES raced off the early speed, came under a ride four wide on the turn and had a mild improve. CUSTOM FOR CARLITA raced in the back, saved ground throughout and needed more for impact. ORETTA chased between foes in the second flight then gave way entering the turn. SILVER SQUALL raced three deep in the second flight through early stages then failed to sustain bid through the turn and gave way.
