Chart notes
MISTER MCLEAN dueled for the lead from the inside with IRON ROB, vied with that rival through a prolonged drive and edged clear through the closing yards. IRON ROB was away in good order to dispute the pace with the winner, vied but could not match strides with the winner late. ASSETS INCLUDED was reserved just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and failed to gain late. CATS SURFIN settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn and did not threaten. GUARDINGTHEMONEY was void of early speed, raced off the rail through the tureen and did not menace. COOL EDGE stumbled at the start, raced unhurried early, moved three-wide through the turn and was not a factor. KING CHARLIE lacked early foot, saved ground through the turn and did not offer a bid.
