Chart notes
SOUTHEAST ASIA stalked the early pace, moved up three wide through the lane and finished well to be clear late under strong handling. CURRY NATION was unhurried early on, moved up four wide nearing the eighth pole and closed in well late. NORTHERN QUEST stalked the pace, moved up around the far turn, raced three wide through the lane while racing between rivals and had not enough late. CLASSY CHASIE was off slowly, moved up four wide into the upper stretch and flattened out. GOOCH EXPRESS was forwardly placed to show good speed from the inside and weakened in the drive. GEM STATE showed good early speed and gave way the final eighth of a mile.
