MILES AHEAD was off slow, advanced inside down the backstretch, was ridden along at the rail around the turn, angled out near the quarter pole, continued on the left lead in the lane, seized command in midstretch and powered clear under minimal urging from there. WELL DEFINED set a rated pace in the two path, led to the eighth pole and was no match for the winner from there while staying on well to remained well clear of the rest. LEGAL DEAL prompted the pace in the three path between foes for a half and lacked a closing bid. BLESSED JOURNEY never threatened while racing four wide. HONOLULU EXPRESS had brief speed four wide. THE NEWFIE EXPRESS was outrun inside.
