Chart notes
FIBERTOWN broke through the gate prior the start then surged clear and angled to the inside to set the pace, came under pressure leaving the five sixteenths pole, opened up at the rail on the far turn and was steadily encouraged through the lane. BRILLIANT IDEAS rounded the first turn about the three path and was well off the pace leaving the turn, started a bid past the seven sixteenths pole, steadily improved to take over second while three wide approaching the top of the stretch, then dug in through the lane and held on for second while gaining only mildly on the winner. GRECIAN ADMIRAL steadied from between horses leaving the five eighths pole then settled off the pace inside, bid approaching the five sixteenths, eased to the four path on the far turn and was along to take third past the eighth pole while gaining on the runner-up. TAMAQUA raced well off the pace in the three path the first turn and ran outside into the backstretch, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn in the five path and passed rivals in the stretch. RAVIN' MAVEN saved ground off the pace the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch. MELDON stalked off the rail the first turn, gave chase past the seven sixteenths pole then weakened at the rail on the far turn. ZEHAVI raced in the four path the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole but weakened off the rail on the far turn.
