Chart notes
CREEKMORE raced well reserved to set the pace inside, was hand urged from the five sixteenths pole and opened up at the rail on the far turn, came under pressure into the lane then taken in hand the final yards. ROSAS WAY raced in the three path the first turn and settled off the pace into the backstretch, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and dueled for second past the eighth pole. FRANKEE MERCH stalked off the rail the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail then drifted into the stretch and flattened the final furlong. IRISHTOWN raced off the pace about the three path the first turn and entered the backstretch outside, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn in the five path and passed rivals in the lane. CRYPTOSONDE saved ground racing well off the pace and showed little response through the backstretch. ASTRO RIDER settled off the pace in the three and four paths the opening turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. HOMER J raced off the pace in the three path, gave chase from the three eighths pole then faded near the rail on the far turn.
