Chart notes
THATSALOTOFBLING was sent to the front and crossed over to the inside by the five eighths pole, then drew out leaving the turn, then held sway late while getting tired to prove best under a drive. DIXIE CARROUSEL was allowed to settle early, raced between rivals by the quarter pole while starting to make a bid, then closed well late but could not get to his barn mate. HIGH DEF RIDGE chased the early pace three wide, then came into the drive four wide to offer a mild late rally. HEAD OVER BOOTS was well placed early on the inside, but lacked the needed punch in the drive while saving ground. ENFANT DE PACQUE passed the tiring rivals. WITT'S TENNY TEN stalked the pace three wide then weakened. SUE'S EASTER GIRL was five wide by the quarter pole while having no response. SWEET TOMATOE PIE was allowed to settle while four wide and retreated.
