Chart notes
ARYESCELESTIC MAN was sent to the lead to set the pace while clear and on the inside, then was asked by the quarter pole and responded well, then was kept safe to the wire to prove best, driving. JOHN DOUGH stalked the winner throughout three wide, had no apparent excuse while second best. PAPAWS BOY was well placed on the inside, angled out three wide in the stretch to have a mild late rally to grab the show award. MACHO FLYER was allowed to settle early on the inside, made a four wide middle move to be in contention by the quarter pole, but flattened out in the drive. PHARME'S PHAITH steadied slightly around the five eighths pole on the inside, then swung out four wide for the drive but had no rally. MULA WILD was three wide into the first turn, then was four wide entering the far turn but offered no rally. EXCALIBUR RIDGE failed to menace. TEXAS PRADO chased the early pace three wide then tired.
