Chart notes
VEGAS PALM pressed the early pace outside leader, continued prominently three then two wide into the lane, responded from strong handling through the drive, reached front in final 30 yards and held off runner-up. DYNAPOWER was off bit slow, unhurried while taken off the inside, chased three wide around the turn, continued outside, closed stoutly from the outside in final eighth and got up for the place in final strides. ACAI was quickly sent to the front, retained advantage into the stretch, dug in along the inside, was overtaken approaching the wire then lost the place in the final strides. BLUEGRASS SKY chased from well off the rail, continued two or three wide and inside runner-up around the turn and into the stretch, continued inside same rival in the lane, had rider lose his whip a sixteenth out and was outfinished. PEACE PIPE tracked pace from the inside, remained inside well into the stretch, shifted out for room a sixteenth from home and found its best stride late from the far outside. LISTEN TO BLUE forced the early issue from between rivals, saved ground to the stretch and was also outfinished from the inside.
