Chart notes
TAHITIAN BREEZE was reserved early, eased out four wide down the backstretch, made a four wide move on the far turn, went on even terms by the furlong marker, then edged clear by the sixteenths pole and held on late to prove best, driving. AIRLINE DRIVE was bumped at the start, rated along the inside on the backstretch, swung out three wide for the drive to make a bid, angled out in mid stretch and closed well late. CATCH THE DEVIL was rated along early and made a three wide bid on the far turn, gained a short advantage by the quarter pole and dueled with the winner to the furlong marker, but flattened out late. JEWEL STREET broke inward at the start bumping a foe, then was allowed to settle early, came four wide into the drive to offer a late rally. NATALIES JOY was allowed to settle early, made a mild four wide bid on the far turn but flattened out in the drive. GLITTER BRIGHT was away alertly and quickly taken back to trail the field into the first turn, then offered a belated rally on the inside. GRANNY JEWELL vied for the early lead on the inside, then was hard to handle while head strong around the five eighths pole and tired. CAPPYCO was three wide into the first turn while vieing for the lead, then went on to set the pace and cross over to the rail on the backstretch then gave way on the far turn.
