Chart notes
LEASE reserved off the pace, angled out in the stretch, offered a late surge to get up in time. POLPIS bid outside on the final turn, reached even terms in the stretch and held on gamely. PASSPORT saved ground early, moved wide on the final turn then back inside and closed well. STONEGATE made a menacing wide move into the stretch, held a narrow lead then weakened. AND SEEK was squeezed back badly after start and rallied mildly. ONE TWO KID dropped back early and lacked a rally. SAND DUNE hustled to the lead inside to the stretch and faltered. LIAR SIDE CHAT stalked the pacesetter for three quarters and faded. PERFECT DAYDREAM chased within striking range early and gave way. PETER G. FOX was taken up sharply soon after the start and trailed throughout.
