Chart notes
FLORIDA ENDEAVOUR Volleyed for the lead along the two path, took charge midway on the last turn, drifted out four wide into the lane with BLOOD MOON to the outside, battled that one, lost the lead a furlong out, battled back and under pressure proved best. BLOOD MOON Ducked out at the start, well placed four wide, gained along the three path on the last turn, was carried five wide into the lane by the winner, took the lead leaving the furlong marker, battled and then yielded nearing the wire. BEACHSIDE Vied for the lead early, dropped back nearing the last turn, took the rail, entered the lane three wide and made a mild bid. BIG'S GRAY DAY Broke slow, vied for the lead inside after a half mile, tracked into the lane and tired. TRUE BLUE GIANT Three path on the turns and tired. A claim of foul was lodged by the rider of BLOOD MOON against the winner for interference at the top of the lane, was not allowed.
