RITA LORRAINE sprinted clear at once, raced off the rail while setting the pace, responded when challenged by ALWAYS FOR MONEY nearing the quarter, drew clear again and held sway to the wire. ALWAYS FOR MONEY chased the winner while racing three-wide, moved up for a striking position nearing the quarter and failed to sustain her bid. SLEEPY SUE was reserved just off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn, reached a contending position but lacked the needed closing response. DISCREET DEMONS tracked the leaders from the inside, lacked racing room nearing the quarter and failed to gain late. DADDYS LITTLE GIRL was bumped at the break, lacked early speed, saved ground through the turn and did not reach contention.
