Chart notes
RITTENHOUSE dueled outside, drifted in moving clear midstretch and pulled away under moderate pressure. GO HUSKIES vied along the rail, changed course in midstretch and finished willingly. BAVARIA dropped back early, advanced inside on the turn then flattened out. OLYMPIQUE stalked the dueling pacesetters outside but came up empty in the stretch. DIGGING FOR GOLD dropped well behind, moved wide on the turn and was no factor. HE RUNS THE LINE trailed for half a mile and was always outrun. ORACABESSA saved ground within striking range and gave way. WISEMAN'S SECRET raced in midpack early then stopped abruptly.
