Chart notes
MIDLANER vied briefly inside, eased back after half a mile, waited patiently angled out in the lane, quickly moved clear winning handily. S MAN broke a step slowly, advanced wide, led on the final turn but was no match for the winner. PRINCIPINO dropped back inside, advanced on the final turn and flattened out in the stretch. SCOOP DAWG reserved close up three wide, steadied briefly at the 5/16 pole and faded. INVENTIONIST forced the pace outside then along the rail and proved in the empty in the stretch. AUSTIN WHYLIE lagged far behind throughout. A claim of foul by the fourth finisher against the second finisher for interference on the final turn was disallowed.
