Chart notes
COOL CATOMINE stalked the pace along the inside down the backstretch, moved up four wide through the lane and finished well to be clear late under strong encouragement. A P'S BLUEGRASS set all the pace along the inside but couldn't hold off the winner in the final stages to finish second best. RYDER ROCKET was allowed to settle early on, moved up around the far turn, raced five wide into the upper stretch and had not enough late. MUNNYCANTBUYMELOVE was slow early, raced four wide past the eighth pole and had not enough in the drive. MAYFAIR HEIGHTS settled off the early going, raced along the inside around the far turn through the stretch and had no response. JOHN ALLEN saved ground and never threatened. HUNTER QUICK raced up close early while racing just off the inside and tired readily.
