Chart notes
STEPHANOPOULOS settled off the earlier pace saving ground, closed to the lead at the five sixteenths pole and contested even terms two deep on the far turn, dueled clear mid-stretch and widened the final sixteenth. LAUREL LAD rated a short lead inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole and was met nearing the five sixteenths, contested even terms nearest the rail on the far turn and remained a close factor to mid-stretch before relenting. CHAMPTOWN HOPE settled off the pace and off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase past the half mile pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and showed little more. LUCKY PARK rated close inside then started a three wide bid leaving the three eighths pole, ran in the three path of the far turn and showed little further. DUNLUCE CAISSLE appeared off stride early, gave chase outside into the backstretch, ran wide on the far turn and passed rivals down the lane. BLOKE rounded the first turn about the five path and ran outside into the backstretch, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and had little left. BULLY DANCER broke a bit awkwardly and showed little response through the backstretch. THREE BALL rounded the opening turn about the three path, gave chase outside from the half mile pole then faded past the quarter. FIRST CLASS FLIRT raced close about the four path the first turn then faded through the backstretch.
