Chart notes
MAGNA MAN unhurried early, closed with a burst of speed in the six path through the final sixteenth of a mile and got up in the final strides. WOODLAND WALK sprinted to the lead soon after the start, set all the pace while getting rapid fractions and was run down in the final stages. SHADOW TRACER chased the pace into the turn, loomed boldly two wide past the quarter pole then failed to sustain that bid. SHY GUY failed to menace. RULING EMPIRE was bumped at the start then no factor. AUTHENTIC COWTOWN was antsy in the gate, stumbled at the start and failed to reach contention. MR. PETE broke inward bumping a rival at the start, settled with the second flight along the inside then faded in the stretch.
