Chart notes
ROBBER BARON set the pace through the second turn, was two wide on the second turn, kicked away at the head of the lane but came back to the rest late and held on for the win. MACEDONIAN RULER (AUS) bobbled at the start, then sat just off of the early fractions, was three wide on the second turn and made a late bid in the stretch to pressure the winner, while holding for second. BLOOD RED MOON had no speed early, trailed through the backstretch and second turn, was two wide on the second turn, angled off of the rail for the stretch run and made a bold rally late to contend with the top two, while a clear third. SINGLE BARREL stalked the fractions of ROBBER BARON, was three wide on the second turn while keeping pressure on the pacesetter, lost ground off of the turn and was outfinished in the stretch run. AWESOME DUDE settled toward the rear of the field, was three wide on the second turn while still toward the rear, made a mild late bid in the stretch but was not challenging the leaders. LOOKIN FOR GOLD chased the pace through the second turn, saved ground on the second turn while still in the middle of the field and ran evenly in the stretch run. HULA KING was five wide on the first turn, settled on the backstretch run while still running in a wide path, was four wide on the second turn, lost position off of the turn and was empty in the stretch run.
