Chart notes
PURR CAT was allowed to settle early, was four wide on the second turn while still toward the rear, made a steady stretch bid to dig in and hold off MOONLIGHT BLUE for the win. MOONLIGHT BLUE settled in the middle of the field, gained ground on the second turn while four wide, battled the winner in the final sixteenth but relented late while besting the rest. JOURNEY TO RUN stalked the early fractions, improved position along the second turn while three wide, led into the stretch but was confronted by the top two and was outfinished late, while a clear third. ONE EYED ROBIN settled at the rear of the field, was four wide on the second turn while still near the back, swung widest for the stretch drive and made a mild bid late, though was not challenging the leaders. KNOWN chased the fractions through the second turn, was three wide on the second turn, vied for contention at the head of the stretch but tired in the stretch run. MY SUNSHINE contested the early pace for a half-mile, saved ground on the second turn, was outrun on the second turn and tired in the stretch run. EARNEST settled in the midflight early, was four wide on the second turn while losing position and weakened in the stretch run.
