Chart notes
ROMANTIC BEAST broke well, fell back steadily to trail early in the turn, two path, dropped inside for the drive, set down, finished well right up the rail to be in time. K R LUCKY DAY closest to the leader up the backstretch and into the turn, continued to pursue that one into the stretch, bid, wore that same rival down to gain the advantage late, could not contain the winner while outside that one at the wire. NINEONEONEPRAYER broke sharp, soon sprinted well clear, maintained a daylight advantage into the lane, responded when confronted by the runner up nearing the furlong grounds, proved stubborn until late, narrowly saved the show. MARIPOSA D'ORO last away, trailed most of the way, displayed some mild, belated interest to narrowly miss the show. A. K. A. GRAMS settled in mid pack early, had little for the drive.
