Chart notes
CHARCOAL chased the pacesetter into the turn, moved up to press that one through mid-turn, gained the lead before the quarter pole, cleared when straightening in the lane and held. POWELL three wide through the turn when never far back, lost his path approaching the quarter pole, shifted into the two path through the lane and was clear for the place spot. KEEPIN IT CLASSY raced four wide through the turn when no far back, bid three wide and in the four path into the lane, loomed a serious threat when straightening then faltered inside the eighth pole and just lasted for the show spot. EL SOBREVIVIENTE trailed while along the inside through the turn, shifted into the five path in mid-stretch and just missed the show spot. STURGILL set the pace on a clear lead for the first call, vied for the lead into late turn then gave way.
