Chart notes
STAR LUCK slipped through the inside on the turn, bid to the front and remained safe driving. EL FENOMENO prompted the pace outside, faded briefly then came again for the place. WEST FORK held a measured lead inside, vied through the turn and weakened late. JAMES CIRO dropped back early then closed the gap inside without menacing. LITTLE VINNIE saved ground close up and proved empty in the stretch. LAWYER ROY lacked speed and was never in contention. SPECTACULAR KID raced well behind, drifted very wide on the turn and faded.
