Chart notes
PAISLEY SINGING prompted the pace two wide, vied around the turn, forged an advantage at the quarter pole, inched clear in midstretch, and held sway under driving pressure. TRUNK OF MONEY set the pace along the inside, showed the way from the pressing PAISLEY SINGING around the turn, got headed by that foe at the quarter pole, then kept on through the lane, but was second best. JUNGLE JUICE (IRE) bobbled slightly at the start, stalked along the inside while close up into the turn, but failed to keep pace with the leading pair at the five sixteenths grounds, chased from along the inside through upper stretch, then shifted two wide and stayed on in the late stages, but ran out of grounds to achieve place. VICS COOL CAT lied off of the pace three wide around the turn, bid for show in upper stretch, but flattened out. A. P. PRINCESS failed to factor. BACI never got involved.
