Chart notes
STRIKE APPEAL was in tight two wide and bumped entering the first turn, got out leaving that turn, was well handled, surged three wide splitting horses entering the second turn, set the balance of the pace and drew off to win in hand. SILVER G T O was in tight at the start, prompted the pace two wide into the far turn then was no match for the winner while well clear for second. DOUBLE THE LAUGH vied for the early lead four wide, dropped back on the far turn then passed tiring rivals late. AWESOME GENT drifted out at the start then failed to menace. MAXIMIZER broke in front, drifted in a bit entering the clubhouse turn, set the pace for five furlongs then weakened. INDY LYON was squeezed, checked and bumped the winner entering the clubhouse turn then dropped out of it after a half. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND AFTER REVIEW DISQUALIFIED MAXIMIZER FOR INTERFERENCE ENTERING THE FIRST TURN AND PLACED HIM LAST.
