NIFTY came in at the start, stalked the pace early on, raced along the rail through the turn, came up the inside entering the lane, took over near the eighth pole and inched clear in the final stages. DONNELS CREEK came in at the start, stalked the pace early, raced in the four path along the turn and into the lane, made a bid in the stretch four wide and prevailed for place under a long drive in the final stages. ROCKING THE BOAT pressed the pace early two wide, raced in the three path into the lane, under a long drive down the lane and missed place in the final stages. BUTTERED NOODLES set the pace early from the inside, was off the rail into the lane, under a long drive near the eighth pole and gave in during the late stages. COLONEL KLINK was bothered at the start and trailed the field throughout.
