Chart notes
GIO DUDE became edgy in the gate and was consequently unprepared for the break then saved ground racing well back, started to improve from the five eighths pole, started a bid past the seven sixteenths and improved in the three path of the far turn, dueled for the lead leaving the eighth pole and widened through later yards. GOODLUCKCHUCK rounded the opening turn about the three path and settled off the pace from the seven eighths pole, started a bid approaching the three eighths pole and dueled to the lead two deep nearing the head of the lane, but was caught past the eighth pole and relented the final sixteenth. POOL BOY CHARLIE rated the pace inside, came under pressure at the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and gave up the nod approaching the head of the lane, then outfinished for second late yards. ROSSIE VAL settled back off the rail then eased out into the backstretch, bid toward the seven sixteenths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and showed little more. AUTS REVOLUTION stalked the early pace two deep, gave chase into the backstretch but faded past the half mile pole. ROYAL THUNDER rounded the opening turn about the four path and was rated off the pace, then showed little response through the backstretch.
