Chart notes
KARATE HOTTIE was away alertly to set the pace while clear and racing off the rail, then drew out leaving the quarter pole, then was kept to mild right handed urging to prove best while tiring late. MARIA CHUCHENA (MEX) chased the early pace from between horses, then was shuffled back approaching the quarter pole, then finished willing in the stretch. GAZING was allowed to settle early on the inside, then eased out on the turn and came six wide into the drive, rallied. ASHLEY'S NEW SHOES stalked the winner three wide then was empty in the drive. SUGARLICIOUS chased the early pace from the inside then faded in the stretch. MARY ALICE was allowed to settle early and made a five wide middle move on the turn then weakened.
