Chart notes
TIZ MEOW away alertly and tracked the leaders into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and closed determinedly three wide in the drive to be up in time. MUSTACHIO away well, and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from along the inside in the run down the backside and through the final turn, shook clear of his pace rival entering the lane, but was unable to hold off the late surge by TIZ MEOW in the closing strides. HIGHWAY BOSS tracked the leaders into the backstretch while saving ground at the rail, rallied along the inside entering the final turn while awaiting room, tipped four wide entering the lane, and closed late to get up for a share. SPOKANE'S GEM broke sharply and dueled for the lead one out from the rail entering the first turn, forced the issue two wide in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, was unable to keep pace with MUSTACHIO turning for home, and weakened in the drive. ONE LAST HIT settled off he early pace while racing one out from the rail under snug restraint entering the first turn, rallied four wide through the final turn, and continued three out from the rail in the drive. ANOTHER GUINNESS tracked the leaders one out from the rail from between rivals in a compact field entering the backstretch, rallied two wide entering the final turn, but failed to mount a late bid.
