Chart notes
CLOSE TO MIDNIGHT set the early pace and moved over to the inside on the backstretch, then was headed passed the quarter pole, then had a long drive with HE'S A SUITOR and prevailed late in a game score under a drive. HE'S A SUITOR stalked the winner throughout and made a three wide bid on the turn, went on even terms passed the quarter pole, but was outfinished late to just miss in a good effort. HONORING MAJOR was five wide into the first turn, chased the pace five wide, then made a four wide bid on the far turn but flattened out. ZENUCCI checked shortly after the start, chased the pace on the inside, angled off the rail passed the three sixteenths pole but was empty. RUN TAPPY had no rally. FIVE STAR KIP chased the early pace in between rivals and three wide then stopped.
