Chart notes
FLASHING DIAMOND broke slowly, rushed up inside, angled out rallying on the turn then pulled away through the final eighth. LADY MUNNINGS dueled outside, earned a narrow lead at the quarter pole and continued gamely for the place. ALWAYS TALKING vied along the inside to midstretch and weakened. DREAMING DIAMONDS dropped back early, angled wide in the stretch and was no threat. REITERATE hesitated at the break, angled inside then moved wide in the stretch. KARABESSA saved ground off the leaders and gave way on the turn.
