Chart notes
RINGS OF SATURN dueled for the lead from the inside with BESTIO, responded when challenged by AMERICAN BUDDHA with a furlong to run, vied with that rival through a stiff drive and gamely prevailed. AMERICAN BUDDHA was reserved just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn, reached the winner in mid-stretch, vied with that rival through a vigorous drive and just missed. BESTIO was away in good order to dispute the early fractions with the winner and gave way through the final furlong. HARBOR OUTLAW settled off the leaders early, angled out approaching the stretch and finished evenly. ALPINE HYPNOSIS showed no early speed, raced five-wide though the turn and did not menace. TAP THE BANK showed brief speed and weakened.
