LOST THE MINISTER led inside on the backstretch, continued to lead contested pace on the turn, entered stretch in the three path, drifted out in upper stretch, kept to task and held safely in deep stretch. JOURNEY CAKE chased leader throughout along the rail, entered stretch in the rail, earned second under drive. CAPTAIN FURY away best and failed to cross over on the rail, ended up in a pressing position outside the leader, entered turn two wide, entered stretch in the four path, had to alter in when leader drifted out in upper stretch, kept to task late and lost second. SHANGHAI CURLY stalked leaders two wide on the backstretch, continued two wide on the turn and into the stretch in the three path, failed to have the needed response in the lane to improve postion. NEW SALUTE broke in and saved ground throughout, failed to launch a bid along the rail in the stretch.
