DONJI tracked the pacesetter through early stages, hustled up around the turn, sustained a steady effort into the lane, advanced to challenge BOAT'S A ROCKIN past the eighth pole, dueled for command then edged away in final stages. BOAT'S A ROCKIN set the pace through early stages, held firm around the turn, fought back when challenged by eventual winner leaving the eighth pole then got edged out nearing the wire. BLOW THE WHISTLE raced in the second flight between rivals around the turn, shifted in a couple paths in the upper stretch then ran on and cleared the rest. DOVER CLIFFS settled through early stages, hustled up along the rail around the turn then failed to keep pace in the upper stretch. COAST TO COAST was forwardly placed out of the gate, ran on around the turn then had nothing left in the lane.
