CONFECTIONER vied between rivals for the early lead, took charge nearing the quarter pole, responded when asked, drew clear, was ridden out and in hand for the final yards. DEE BO was bumped hard at the start, stalked, made a four wide run on the turn, rallied outside in the stretch, dug in gamely but second best. AWESOME YET AGAIN vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn and tired. JERICHOS BATTLE was reluctant to load, broke in bumping rivals at the start, vied outside for the early lead, dueled three wide on the turn and faded. MAKOTO was bumped hard at the start, raced off the rail and did not factor. GIANT OF GIANTS was bumped at the start, chased between rivals early and gave way.
