Chart notes
ROSE PRINCESS sat just off of the early pace, took the lead on the second turn while two wide, dug in in the final sixteenth and just held off BORN TO REIGN to prevail. BORN TO REIGN settled in the midflight, was two wide on the second turn, made a steady run off of the turn, pressured ROSE PRINCESS in the final sixteenth but just missed for the win, while a clear second over the rest. RED DAHLIA set the pace through the second turn, saved ground on the second turn while being pressured by the winner, was outrun off of the turn and tired in the stretch run, while a clear third over the rest. DEE GEE stalked the early pace, was three wide on the second turn, lost ground off of the turn and weakened in the stretch run. TOTALLY NORMAL had no speed early, saved ground on the second turn and lacked a late rally in the stretch run. ROUGE BOUQUET settled toward the rear of the field, was two wide on the second turn and lacked a response in the stretch drive. FIRE DIAMONDS sat just off of the early pace, lost ground on the second turn, stopped, was eased and walked off.
