DUCHESS BUBBLES was allowed to settle four wide early, made a four wide move on the far turn, then went on even terms for command passed the furlong marker, had a long drive to the wire prevailing late. TEXAS TIDELANDS pressed the early pace and made a three wide bid leaving the quarter pole, had a long drive with the winner while drifting out through the lane but was outfinished late in a game effort. WHAT'S NEWS was rated along two to three wide, swung out four wide for racing room leaving the turn but had no punch. INDY LOVER stalked the early pace four wide, made a three wide bid on the far turn but came up empty in the drive. CAPTAIN BEYOND set a pressured pace from the inside then gave way. JUST CLAIRE was allowed to settle on the inside but had no response.
