Chart notes
MANDALOUN was bumped lightly and then steadied back soon after the start, settled nicely off the pace, moved up three wide on the backside, advanced outside on the far turn, responded quickly when asked, rallied strongly four wide into the stretch, gained a short lead and then held stubbornly to the finish. WEYBURN bumped lightly at the start, pressed the pace racing in hand while two wide, moved up alongside LUGAMO to challenge at the half mile marker, took charge on the far turn, dug in between rivals in the stretch drive and battled back gamely in the final hundred yards. DR JACK was bumped lightly at the break, tracked the leaders racing on the inside, bid three wide on the far turn, chased the top pair into the stretch, then dug in gamely on the rail in the drive. BROOKLYN STRONG raced off the pace inside, was asked on the far turn and failed to respond. LUGAMO set the pace on the inside, then dueled with WEYBURN, gave way on the far turn and stopped late.
