FORT LANGLEY stalked the early pace while racing one out from the rail, commenced his bid four wide entering the final turn, and closed willingly five wide in the drive while bumping with ACE DEUCE, but prevailed in the closing strides. DEMERARA broke sharply and tracked the leader into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied two wide from between rivals through the final turn, and finished gamely from along the inside in the drive to just miss. ACE DEUCE settled off the early pace while saving ground at the rail entering the backstretch, rallied smartly three wide through the final turn, was bumped in early stretch, and finished willingly three wide in the drive to just miss the place. MARTELLO away well and tracked the leader into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, rallied three wide into the final turn while pressing the leader, and finished two out from the rail in the drive. WICKED FORTITUDE tracked the leaders into the backstretch while saving ground along the inside, rallied two wide through the final turn, and was steadied inside the final sixteenth while lacking room between rivals. DAKATI stalked the leaders into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, rallied two wide entering the final turn, but failed to mount a late bid. SARGENT RICK unhurried early while dropping back to trail, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, but needed more when called upon. IT'S IN COMMAND away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the backstretch, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, but weakened over the final furlong.
