Chart notes
ZENUCCI was well rated on the inside down the backstretch, eased out leaving the five sixteenths pole to make a four wide bid passed the quarter pole, hit the front at the furlong marker and drew away the final sixteenth to prove best under a drive. SINGANDCRYINDUBAI was four wide into the first turn, then went on the press the pace three wide, made a bid on the far turn to gain a short lead passed the quarter pole, put the pace setter away leaving the turn but then could not hold off his entry mate the final sixteenth of a mile while clearly second best. WESTFEST set a pressured pace on the inside, was headed passed the quarter pole and weakened, held on to show award late. G'S TURN was rated along between rivals down the backstretch, then was three wide passed the quarter pole but had no significant rally. LIFE ON THE ROAD was reserved early, came five wide into the drive but lacked a rally. TOWERING OAK was four wide into the first turn, chased the pace four wide down the backstretch and tired.
