Chart notes
WAR DETONATOR forced the pace, led narrowly on the turn, dug in gamely and was all out to fend off. RETALIATED. The latter chased the pacesetters, was angled in for the stretch run and finished willingly. BATTLE HERO dueled early, was headed on the turn and stayed on in the stretch. KNIGHT COMMANDER settled while four wide, inched closer on the turn, continued four wide the stretch and finished evenly. KNOCKS BIG THIRST chased while three wide and lacked the needed bid. FIREHORN saved ground, was angled out five wide into the stretch and offered no response.
