Chart notes
IN THE DEEP forced pace outside, short lead turn, opened up stretch, drew out. EVISCERATOR stalked wide, rallied, drifted in passing the sixteenth pole bothering DRIZZY and forcing that one and TWO STEPS FASTER to steady, kept coming for the place. DRIZZY stalked forced pace inside, was rallying between horses when bothered and steadied, kept coming for the show. PROUD AND LOUD stalked forced pace off rail, finished evenly. TWO STEPS FASTER forced pace inside to turn, stalked duel turn, steadied between horses nearing the sixteenth pole when EVISCERATOR drifted in and EL CHAIRMAN drifted out, finished evenly. EL CHAIRMAN had speed between horses, dueled inside turn, gave way in early stretch, drifted out mildly into the path of TWO STEPS FASTER in mid stretch while tiring. WITTS HURRICANE showed little. The rider aboard DRIZZY lodged a claim of foul against the rider of EVISCERATOR for interference in the stretch. EVISCERATOR was disqualified and placed third.
