TWO TERMS dueled inside, opened up late turn, drifted out in mid stretch bothering NEW YORK PROUD, who was rallying to his outside, regrouped and kept coming to retake the lead late and hold that one safe to the wire. NEW YORK PROUD stalked off rail, rallied outside, bothered in mid stretch, gave best to the wire outside the winner. BENROY dueled between horses, forced issue outside final turn, gave way, kept coming to take the lead along the rail in mid stretch when TWO TERMS drifted out, tired late. HAPPY HARLEY dropped well back early, rallied belatedly. KOOL ONE stalked duel off rail, faded inside final turn. KING CAT dueled outside, dropped back after a quarter, faded final turn. The rider aboard NEW YORK PROUD lodged a claim of foul against the rider of TWO TERMS for interference in mid stretch. TWO TERMS was disqualified and placed second.
