Chart notes
M FAST broke sharply to duel for the lead from the inside with SUDDENLY AWESOME, disposed of that rival after going a half, opened a clear margin and held off the closing SHARMEL to prevail. SHARMEL was reserved just off the leaders from off the rail, responded when set down for the drive and was gaining on the winner late. POINT HOPE (IRE) was never far back, raced four-wide through the turn and failed to gain in the drive. PLEASE ME lacked early foot, raced four-wide through the turn and finished evenly late. SUDDENLY AWESOME was away in good order to dispute the early fractions with the winner and gave way after going a half. CLUB ROYALE was off a step slow and lagged throughout.
