Chart notes
FINISH UP carried in at the start, settled well, ducked in at the eighth pole bumping KWAI CHANG and surged clear. TOUGH AINT ENOUGH chased while three wide, proved no match and stayed on. WARRIOR'S RUN outpaced early, moved closer on the turn and finished well. A BRUSH OF LUCK outrun while five wide, continued five wide into the stretch and stayed on. FRANKLY EPIC forced the pace, remained in contention into the stretch and came up empty. KWAI CHANG led early, was headed leaving the turn, was bumped in the stretch and dropped back. KAYLA never menaced. BLUE PARADISE veered in at the start and was no factor. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO AN INCIDENT APPROACHING THE EIGHTH POLE. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS A TRAINER'S CLAIM OF FOUL ALLEGING INTERFERENCE AGAINST THE WINNER. AFTER REVIEWING VIDEOTAPED REPLAYS, THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED FINISH UP FOR INTERFERENCE AND HE WAS PLACED SIXTH.
