BOLD ADVENTURE trailed the field early on, raced in the four path along the turn, was in the seven path into the lane, rallied down the lane, drove past five wide and cleared the field in the final stages. SOMETIMES ALWAYS vied early on between horses, raced in the two path along the turn, was off the rail into the lane, inched ahead near the eighth pole but yielded late in the drive. FREDERICKTOWN chased the pace early on, was in the five path into the lane, made a bid in the stretch but hung in the late stages. CAVATINA vied for the lead early from the inside, was off the rail into the lane, was blocked down the lane, altered inside late and leveled off late in the drive. KNIEVEL broke slowly and raced back early on, was in the five path into the lane and moved up in the stretch run. GRENDEL raced four wide early, was bumped and bothered near the half mile pole, was in the three path into the lane, made a bid near the eighth pole but weakened late in the drive. EL CASADORA was never a threat.
