Chart notes
AHMAS saved ground off the pace the first turn then eased out with a bid into the backstretch, circled rivals in the five path of the far turn, dug in for the lead later yards and raced clear toward the wire. NATIVE COURAGE angled to the inside and rated the pace, came under pressure toward the five sixteenths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, dug in under steady stretch encouragement, but gave up the lead inside the sixteenth pole and relented later yards. MALIBU CIRCLE stumbled leaving the gate then saved ground, started a bid approaching the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn, came between horses leaving the sixteenth pole and dueled for third. BURN THE SHIPS rated close inside the first turn, gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail then outfinished in the stretch duel for third. HEART AND HOPE stalked off the rail, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole then flattened in the three path of the far turn. TRACE'S BOY stalked from the three path the first turn, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole and contested the far turn two deep, though, weakened inside the eighth pole. FASHIONABLE settled off the pace in the three and four paths, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole then weakened in the three path of the far turn. R H F SPECTRE raced well back saving ground and offered only a mild bid. MASTER OF DISASTER was not a factor. PRINCE OF FREEDOM raced off the pace inside and was through early.
