Chart notes
NANAS BOY set the early pace while being well handled on the inside, shook clear passed the furlong marker then held gamely late to prove best under a drive. JOHN DOUGH prompted the winner three wide to the quarter pole, then fell back when leaving the turn, then finished willingly late but could not get to the winner while saving the place award. PAPAWS BOY was rated along two wide, swung out four wide leaving the turn and rallied well on the outside but needed more. EXCALIBUR RIDGE was allowed to settle early, then raced on the inside on the far turn, had a mild late rally towards the inside. TRULY DANZIG was bumped at the start, then raced four wide on the backstretch, then came five wide into the drive but had no significant rally. FIRST BUMP RIDGE was allowed to settle early, came three wide into the drive but lacked a rally. FANDO failed to menace while saving ground. PHARME'S PHAITH stalked the pace four wide then weakened.
