Chart notes
MISS MATILDA stalked the early leaders, was a factor on the turn and with the lead in mid stretch drew off. SMOKEHOUSE was in touch, saved ground on the turn and finished well. LAXMI showed speed from the inside and had the lead on the turn but was headed in mid stretch and gave way. MIDSUMMER BIRD was hustled early and raced evenly on the turn but had no late kick. HOT COPY was in mid pack and hustled along on the turn but was not a factor. STORY STRAIGHT was off slow, showed little and had no impact. SAN NICOLA PRANCER was off slow and showed nothing in a dull effort.
